Buy Chemical, Water, and Beverage Filters from the Experts in Industrial Filtration.

While bag filtration may be a simple way to remove unwanted solids from a liquid, recent developments in technology and materials address various process challenges. For the best filtration performance and most efficient manufacturing process, consider these criteria:
  • Absolute versus nominal particle filtration capability
  • Flow rate, pressure, and temperature of the application
  • Filter bag media compatibility
  • Filter housing options
Bag Filters

Anode Bag Filters

Anode Bags are designed for use in plating baths and can be constructed in any custom size. All Anode Bag Filters are double needle sewn at the top and bottom of the bag for added strength and are available in 12 oz. Cotton Duck, 7.5 oz. Cotton Sateen, 210 Denier Nylon, 9 oz. Polypropylene or 13 oz. Polynap Medias.

High Capacity Bag Filters

Extended Surface Pleated Bag Filters are designed for High Dirt Holding Capacity and High Flow. The bag is constructed with two layers of nominal felt together to act as a prefilter before the final layer of felt. The Extended Surface Pleated Bag offers longer operating life (up to four times under standard operating conditions) which reduces downtime for filter changeout.

High Efficiency Bag Filters

Microfiber Bag Filters are available in Polyester and Polypropylene Medias. The Microfiber materials provide high efficiencies at low micron ratings. The multilayer technology results in a true graded density material with high performance ratings. These bags are available in micron ratings from 1 to 50 and in standard as well as custom sizes.

High Performance Bag Filters

High Performance Bag Filters are constructed with 40-56 square feet of Polypropylene Microfiber media that allows it to absorb unwanted trace oils in process fluids. The high amount of surface area due to the Polypropylene Microfiber media, results in oil holding capacities from 15-25 times the filters own weight.

High Temperature Bag Filters

High Temperature bag filters are designed to withstand temperatures up to 425°F. Each bag is constructed with 100% Nomex Synthetic Fibers and there are no needle holes which increases the efficiency of the bag and reduces the possibility of fiber shedding.

High Viscosity Bag Filters

High Viscosity Bag Filters are constructed using Polyester Phenolic Resin media and more effective at retaining gel-like particles than conventional bag filters. The gradient density of the dual layer PEPT material increases the surface area and increases filter life. High Viscosity Bag Filters are available in both Standard Bag Filters and Pleated Bag Filters.

Oil Absorbent Bag Filters

High Capacity Oil Absorbent Bag Filters are designed with multiple layers of Microfiber media that not only retain oil but increase the overall efficiency to 95% or greater on micron ratings from 1 to 50. The Microfiber layers are made up of a combination of 100% pure Polypropylene combined with other proprietary oil retaining fibers. The overall construction of this bag filter has 30+ Square feet of media and can retain 10.7+ pounds of oils, depending on the micron.

Pleated Depth Bag Filters

Pleated Depth Bags are designed to combine the great qualities of both a Bag Filter and a Cartridge Filter to provide high dirt holding capacity and longer filter life than traditional Bag Filters. These filters are designed to fit into existing Size #1 and Size #2 Baskets and can be constructed in Polyester, Polypropylene or Cellulose Media and in a variety of Absolute or Nominally rated efficiencies.

Standard Felt Bag Filters

Standard Felt Bag Filters are available in Polyester and Polypropylene Medias and an optional Singed or Glazed Finish helps in reducing fiber migration downstream. These materials meet FDA regulations for food contact under CFR21, Section 177.1520. All Industry standard and custom sizes are available in a wide range of Micron levels.

Standard Mesh Bag Filters

Standard Mesh Bag Filters are available in Monofilament and Multifilament Mesh in both Nylon and Polyester medias. Both weave patterns are non-fiber releasing and offer high flow and low pressure drops. Bags are available in standard and custom sizes and in micron ratings from 1 to 1500.
